I hope you spent your new years with your loved ones!!
I did!! keekee~!
That's not why I'm posting.
I need help (not professional help...well..that would be nice but anyway). I don't know how to properly bow to my elders when wishing them a happy new year. I have 3 brothers ("I wish I had one less") and we all bowed the same way while growing up...the man's way. I didn't really care while growing up because it was just in front of family, and no one really corrected me...those bastards...JUST KIDDING. But seriously, no one corrected me.
But, today at the cemetery, I was embarrassed to give my blessing of the new year to my mom, aunt, and grandparents. Why? It's because there were so many men and women behind us and apparently, I'm a man.
So, with my mother gone and no other woman figure in my life...I am stuck with bowing like a man. Does anyone want to teach me the proper way for ladies??? I tried looking at my friends' facebook photo albums and of them bowing...but I can't really see. And I'd rather have someone teach me than me guessing and making a fool out of myself (which I kind of did today but it ended up being the man's way again...HAHHAHA).

ReplyDeleteLOL i just asked my mum and then sae bae-ed to them and now i am here to tell u. u put ur hands by ur side with palms facing the ground and ur hands pointing sideways not forward. and then u go down on one knee and bow. i went to the grave today too but my mom said that grave bowing and saebae bowing is diff. so the grave bow is like man bow but saebae bow is the one i described first. LOL hope that helps.
ReplyDelete-ellis it says my google account name is wabp....which is not my name...
