My dad picked up my green envy phone.
Dad - That phone is too heavy.
Me - You want to get me an iPhone?
Dad - No, I said that phone is too heavy for me, not for you.

Great.

Usually when I go out, my dad says, "Come home early. 10pm is earlier than 2am."

Yesterday night, I told my dad I was going to go to a church prayer retreat (which was really great, btw) that night and that I would be back the next day (today).
"Okay, come home early. 10pm is earlier than 2am."

I think he is just conditioned to say that every time I leave the house after 6pm.

Maybe he would stop saying it if I actually did come home at 10pm.

Hrmm.

LOVE YOUR PARENTS! There really is no other man and woman who will love you as much as they do in the parenting way (maybe in-laws, if you're lucky. Oh and grandparents...but you get it). Cherish their love, please~!
