The Squishy Wake Up Call

My class instructor, Captain Lovell, warned us that if we fall asleep while he was instructing, he was going to his us with one of these babies.

He said that he's fine with us standing in the back if we get tired but thou shall not sleep!!!

I slept at 1 today and woke up at 7. For you non math majors, that's only 6 hours of sleep!!! 6!! NOOO!!!
I knew I was going to fall asleep in class and thankfully Capt Lovell gives us 10 minute breaks after every hour.

Before the lunch break, I was pretty good at not sleeping and I took naps during the breaks.

After lunch is another story.

"Hrmm I wonder how much longer till break? OMG it's only 1315 (class resumed at 1300). Alright, I gotta last. I GOTTA!!!

OMG, it's only 1330. I hope I don't fall asleep. That looks so bad. I would stand up in the back but then I can't take notes on my laptop. It's okay...only 20 more minutes to go.

(throughout this whole time my blinks were 2 seconds long...)

DUDE.....1346!! ALMOST THERE!!! PLEEEAAASEE!!! HURRY!!!!

I sat back on my chair and KTFO'd.

After 10 minutes, I woke up to the voice of Capt Lovell. When I opened my eyes, the squishy stringy thing was in his hand. ZOMG Good thing I woke up! I can't believe my neighbor didn't wake me up!! LT SMITH!! YOU JERK!!

Jk!

But I'm so glad that I'm not his first victim!!
