Gizzard!!!

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Daniel was at work fooling around. He was walking into the kitchen or coffee room and screamed like a girl. "OMYGOSH!!!!" There was a lizard crawling on the ground. His coworker or someone caught it or something, I forget.

Last Friday, I was at Pastor Rubin's house babysitting Julianne and Julius. Their grandmother, who lives nearby, was watching over Joylyn.

As I was walking into the kitchen with Julius, I saw a lizard on the floor. OMGOMG SOOOOOOOOOOOO OMG I CAN'T EVEN EXPRESS IT!! JUST OMG OMG!!!! EEEEEEEEEEW!!!!! It was crawling all over the ground and near the wall. SICK!!

It was underneath a bin and was blocked off on 2 sides (the wall and the cabinets).
Me - Julius!! A LIZARD!!!!!!

Julius (excited and terrified) - WHERE?!

Me - It's underneath that thing.

Julius - Where? I want to see it's face!
Me - It's right thEEEREE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UGH!!

Julius - Catch it and show me it's face!!
Me - What the! You CATCH IT!!!
Julius - Come on, you catch it!!

Who does this 5 year old think he is? A pastor's son, that's who.

In front of the bin was the laundry machine and the grandmother was taking clothes out of the dryer. I really wanted to warn her that a lizard was right there but I didn't know how to say lizard in Korean. UCSD KOREAN CLASSES DID ME NO GOOD!!

So, I went online and looked up lizard in korean. This was the fastest internet search I've ever done in my life.

Me (in Korean) - Excuse me!! There's a lizard under there~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

GMa - OMONA OMONA~~~~~~~~!!!!

She moved so quickly to get all the laundry out into her basket and boned the hell out.

Julius - I wanna SEE!!!




I didn't know what to do so I called Pastor Rubin. Now that I think about it, he wouldn't have been able to help right then and there. Sorry for bothering you, Pastor Rubin!

Julius - Appah, there's a lizard in the kitchen!!
Me - Hi Pastor Rubin. There's a lizard here. What should I DOOOOOOOOO~~~~~~~~~!

Rubin - Oh, yeah. I saw that earlier and tried to catch it twice but it was too fast. Just leave it and I'll get it later.

O.....NO.

Good thing I was leaving soon!! AHH!

Daniel, you're not THAAAAT big of a pansy. Lizards are disgusting.

I hope Pastor Rubin caught the lizard because I'm babysitting there tomorrow and I don't want to see that ish...
