I Am So Dumb...For Reals

So.

Two weeks before the 23rd, I found out that I was allowed to go back to Cali for the break. YAY CALI!!!!

I found someone who was leaving out of Dallas Fort Worth (2 hours away from Wichita Falls) on the 23rd, so I booked a one way ticket to LAX that day because it was hella cheap.

A couple days later, I found someone who was coming back on the 3rd from Oklahoma City (2 hours away from WF), so I booked a one way ticket from ONT to OKC.

I looked at my bank statement online that night and noticed that there was no charge on my account. "I KNEW I shouldn't have booked it on my phone!" So, I bought a ticket from ONT to OKC and whattayaknow...There are two charges on my account.

ZOMG.

I quickly canceled the ticket I just booked which departed at 6am and everything was fine and dandy...until today.

DUN DUN DUUUUNNNN!!!

This whole break, I thought my flight out to OKC was at 6am.

Dad - Sangaya, what time is your flight?
Me - 6 something. I'll check later.
Dad - You better check now.
Me - I know I know I will.


I just came home right now (1am) from hanging out with some great friends and around 1:45am, I checked my flight and it's not at 6am...it's at 1:15am. My heart sank to the bottom of the most bottom thing you can think of.

I didn't know what to do.

So I called my Indian friend, Orbitz Patel.

Me - Are there any flights from ONT to OKC today?
Orbitz - Nope.
Me - From LAX to OKC?
Orbitz - Nope. It's full.
Me - From ONT to DFW?
Orbitz - Nope. Sorry, that's full.
Me - OMG...From LAX to DFW?
Orbitz - Nope! (jk) Yes, there is one spot left.
Me - BOOK IT!


OMG seriously you guys, this is the most stressed out I have ever been in my life...in my 22 soon to be 23 years of my life.


"Nice, Rach! You found a ticket!!"

But wait... That's only half the battle...

Since I don't have a car in Texas, I have to coordinate rides with people flying in and out and make sure that I can hitch a ride from them.

I have a ride from OKC to WF...But not from DFW to WF. I only know one car coming in from DFW to WF but that car has 4 people already and IDK if they have space...

But my OKC ride is willing to pick me up from DFW...
He would be driving for...6 hours. That's insane!

Hopefully, I get into contact with these DFW foolios. ugh

That was the most uncomfortable flight ever. First of all, I sat in the middle seat. Was I picky about my seat at the time of booking? Hell no! Secondly, I sat on a broken ass. Ok...not ass. But a fractured tailbone. I bought a black travel pillow (the pink one wouldn't do so well in the air force). My butt hurts so much right now (I'm at my layover updating!) and I have another hour.5 of ass kicking time...waaaah! Sigh. Oh, and on that plane, as I was closing the lotion susan got me, I dropped the cap...dammit! But then I found it sitting right by my feet like a lost cat who finally came home to the north pole purring next to santa's big black boots. Imagine if santa had black cowboy boots...I hate texas. Hahaha. Gotta board soon. See you later!

Dammit...does 18B sound like an aisle seat? Window seat? :(
